The Black Starlets of Ghana are in Group A alongside hosts Niger and Togo in the upcoming WAFU Zone B U17 tournament.

The tournament which is set to begin from September 2nd to 15th will be played in the Nigerien capital Niamey.

Group B is made up of Nigeria, Benin, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.

Ghana will battle with the other countries for a single slot for the 2019 Africa U17 Cup of Nations in Tanzania.

The former Africa Champions were forced to play in the WAFU Zone B competition following CAF’s new format for the Africa U17 Nations Cup qualifiers.
The Starlets have resumed camping camping in the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.
