The Black Stars B defeated Division Two side Koforidua Suhyen Sporting Club (SC) 2-0 in a friendly match played earlier today at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

By design the game was played for 60 minutes in each half instead of the regular 45 minutes and it featured half of the 43 players who are already in camp.

Prince Opoku Agyemang of Medeama scored both goals in the second half. Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder George Asamoah set him up to lob the ball over the goalkeeper.

Players who did not feature on Wednesday will get the chance to play on Thursday against another opponent.

The match will help the technical team to asses the 43 players who are currently training and preparing at the camp.

Most of the players who were invited to camp are already there training with the last batch being the Hearts of Oak and AshGold players.

The recently formed Koforidua Suhyen have been a breathe of fresh air in the lower tier side as they have performed very well in their division going unbeaten in their matches played so far.

It was a good exercise for the handlers of the national team to assess the players as they try to trim the squad size.
