The Black Stars have the squad with the least value in group H of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup which starts in November as compiled by renowned football statistical website transfermakt.

Ghana's group opponents Republic of Korea has a squad market value of 131 million euros, it ranked 23rd out of 32 countries after Costa Rica, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Australia, Iran, Ghana, Cameroon and Japan.

The most valuable asset for Korea is Heung-Min Son (75 million euros), the Tottenham Hotspur striker who recently
won the top scorer in the English Premier League jointly with Mo Salah.

Portugal has a staggering market value of their squad at 765 million euros, with Cristiano Ronaldo whiles Uruguay with Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez at the forefront have a squad value of 395 million euros.

 All 32 countries that will participate in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar have been confirmed. The soccer statistics media 'Transfermarkt' compiled the market value for each country.

After going through the intercontinental playoffs, Australia and Costa Rica boarded the 'last train'. At the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Doha, Qatar, Australia defeated Peru and secured a ticket to the finals after a close match leading to a penalty shootout. 'Socceroo' Australia competes in Group D, which includes France, Denmark and Tunisia.

Costa Rica defeated New Zealand 1-0 at the same spot on the morning of the 15th to secure their place in the finals. It was thanks to Joel Campbell's winning goal three minutes after kickoff as well as a red card for New Zealand. 

Costa Rica aims to advance to the tournament in Group E, 'Group of Death', which includes Spain, Germany and Japan.

After the match, 'Transfermarkt' organized and shared the market value  for all the athletes from 32 countries. The country with the highest market value is England at 1.3 billion euros.

The players who boasted the highest market value in the Three Lions were Harry Kane and Phil Foden, both boasting €90 million.

On the other hand, Costa Rica (18 million euros) is the country that succeeded in traveling to Qatar despite the low market value of its playing squad.

Costa Rica, ranked 31st in the FIFA rankings, fell behind Qatar (19 million euros), which was the first to step on the World Cup stage as the host country. In fact, Keylor Navas (8 million euros) is their most valuable player.
