The Black Stars have been reinforced with the arrival of 12 players, increasing the squad size to 23 ahead of Ghana’s pivotal 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan.

The latest additions to the team include Lawrence Ati Zigi, Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku, Abdul Mumin, Ernest Nuamah, Majeed Ashimeru, Alidu Seidu, Ibrahim Sulemana, Tariq Lamptey, Ibrahim Sadick, Michael Baidoo, and Jerome Opoku.

These players are set to join the rest of the squad in training on Tuesday as they prepare for the first leg of the doubleheader.

Ghana will face Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, October 10, 2024, before traveling to Benina, Libya, for the return match on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
