Ameenu Shadow, the team manager of the Black Stars, recently discussed the current state of Ghanaian football in an interview on Sports Ultras on 3 FM.

Shadow admitted that Ghana football has experienced a decline and is not currently among the elite in the sport.

However, he expressed a strong belief that with significant and improved investment, the game will rise again to the top echelon.

Recognizing the passion Ghanaians have for football and their desire for continuous success, Shadow emphasized that rebuilding Ghanaian football will require time and patience.

He emphasized the need for increased investment to bring the game back to its former glory, and acknowledged that this process will take time.

"We understand the expectations of Ghanaians when it comes to football, and we always want to win. However, it's important to recognize that reviving our football and reclaiming our position at the top level will take time," Shadow stated.

He further emphasized the importance of learning from past mistakes and using them as valuable lessons for improvement. Shadow expressed optimism that Ghanaian football can learn, grow, and ultimately regain its place among the best.

While acknowledging the current challenges faced by Ghanaian football, Ameenu Shadow remains hopeful for the future.

He believes that with increased investment and a concerted effort to rectify past errors, Ghana can once again become a force to be reckoned with in the footballing world.
