Newly appointed U.S Sassuolo manager Roberto De Zerbi has given his seal of approval to the club’s latest acquisition, Kevin Prince Boateng.

The Ghanaian international penned a three-year contract with the Serie A outfit on Thursday.

Boateng played for Las Palmas in the Spanish top-flight before returning to the German Bundesliga to join the Eagles as a free agent in the summer of 2017.

The Ghanaian enjoyed a fruitful campaign at Frankfurt last season, clinching the German Cup- The Eagles’ first silverware in three decades.

Speaking to reporters at his official unveiling today, Coach Roberto praised the qualities of the former AC Milan star.

"He is a quality player, the quality players must be put on the pitch. I know him well, he is intelligent, mature and strong, he can play different roles "
