Bofoakwa Tano defender Rockson Okyere has apologized to the entire supporters of Bofoakwa Tano after they failed to qualify to the Ghana Premier League season.

The Sunyani based club failed to qualify to the domestic top-flight after sharing the spoils with Berekum Arsenal in the Division One League Zone 1 on the final day.

Real Tamale United gained promotion top-flight following Tano Bofoakwa’s inability to beat Regional rivals, Arsenal at the Golden City Park.

Speaking in an interview with Ark FM, the player apologized to the entire supporters after they failed to secure promotion as they fought a good fight.

"We are sorry for not qualifying Bofoakwa Tano to the Premier League "

"We fought very hard throughout the season to get the job done but at a point in the game against Arsenal, I knew it would be difficult".

"I still have a contract with Bofoakwa Tano and I'm hoping we can qualify next season".

"I will urge my colleagues not to get discouraged. It's part of football and we will make our fans proud"

"I've heard of many rumours linking me to many clubs. The management of our club knows the best for me" he added.
