Reliable information available to Ghanaguardian.com from the Flagstaff House indicates President Nana Akufo-Addo has relieved Energy Minister, Hon Boakye Agyarko of his post.

Statement signed by Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin says the President has asked Mr Boakye Agyarko to hand over his office to the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Peter John Amewu, who will be acting temporarily as Minister for Energy, until a substantive appointment is made.

The President also in the statement wished Mr. Boakye Agyarko well in his future endeavours.
