MTN suffers serious service outages

Millions of Ghanaians were on Wednesday night left in a technological darkness on when MTN's service suffered a major blackout.
The telecommunication Giant, who have more than 20 million subscribers, had all its services shut down with customers unable to make calls, send text messages or access internet through their phones, indicating a major communication shutdown.
Mobile money services also went off as millions of customers hoping to make business transaction through the service found themselves in total confusion.

The service problem was experienced from about 20:49 GMT and its yet to be solved, making the disruption a cause of worry to customers.
Setbacks of such magnitude rarely happens in the country as most telecommunication company, through competitions, keep making frantic efforts to give Ghanaians the best of services.
As at 21:30 GMT a plethora of complains about the cut kept flying across, with many threatening to discontinue using MTN, whiles other are anxiously waiting for response from the company.
