According to sky sports, Inter Milan have terminated the contract of their Dutch manager Frank De Boer.

The former Ajax manager took the Inter job on 9 August 2016, after the departure of Roberto Mancini, on a three-year contract.

He endured a nightmare start into his career as the manager for Nerazzurri , losing seven of his first 14 games in charge.

Barely 3 months into the job and after 11th round of games played in the Serie A, things are not quite going according to plan for the Milan based club.

Inter Milan currently sit 12th on the Serie A table with just 14 pts after 11 games.

Adding to that, besides their impressive derby win against Juventus, results and performances have generally not been what the Italian club desire.

It’s likely an Italian Coach will be put in charge until the end of the season in a caretaker role, with Gazzetta naming Stefano Pioli as the favourite.
