Kwesi Nyantakyi has resigned from his various positions in football following an undercover investigation conducted by the TigerEye PI.

The disgraced FIFA Council member, under investigation  for alleged corruption, has resigned from the world soccer body.

Confederation of African Football president Ahmad says Nyantakyi also offered his resignation as first vice president of the continental body.

This comes after he stepped down from his position as GFA boss after a meeting with the Executive Committee of the Football Association Friday.

Ace investigative journalist Anas Aremayaw Anas’ latest documentary last week showed Nyantakyi taking $65,000 in cash from undercover reporters posing as businessmen to secure favor with Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo and other government officials.

Nyantakyi was seen in the video outlining to agents of Anas’ TigerEyePI who posed as investors the key government officials to bribe and also the steps to take to get a strangle hold on key projects in the country, as well as suggesting a dummy financial agency that would broker a sponsorship deal for the Ghana Premier League.

CAF is set to host an extraordinary Congress to replace Ex- Ghana FA head on the FIFA Council on September 30.
