Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey played a pivotal role in Ajax’s dominant 4-0 victory over Turkish side Besiktas in their Europa League clash at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Thursday evening.

His strength and playmaking skills were on full display, contributing an impressive assist to the resounding win.

Ajax started the game strong, controlling possession and dictating the pace.

Their dominance paid off in the 31st minute when Kian Fitz-Jim broke the deadlock with a well-placed finish from close range.

After halftime, Ajax doubled their advantage in the 51st minute, courtesy of a fast counter-attack orchestrated by Bertrand Traoré, which Mika Godts finished with precision.

Brobbey’s highlight came just four minutes later in the 55th minute. Using his strength and vision, he provided a clever assist from outside the box, setting up Kenneth Taylor to slot home Ajax's third goal.

Ajax sealed their triumph in the 73rd minute when Mika Godts completed his brace, making it 4-0 and putting the result beyond doubt.

With this emphatic win, Ajax will shift their attention to their Eredivisie encounter against RKC Waalwijk on September 29th, buoyed by their impressive European performance.
