President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo has said "there are brighter days ahead" for the country's economy to be brought on track.

Nana Addo has also assured  Ghanaians,  "not to see the economic challenges of today as the blue print of tomorrow', adding that   the NPP government is aware of the challenges ahead.

 "I am aware of the many challenges that confronted Ghanaians this year. We should not see the economic difficulties of today as the blueprint of our tomorrow. There are brighter days ahead,"he said.

"We should continue to stay united and focus on the things that can help us construct the road to a brighter future."

On  his social media account, the 72 years old Human Right Lawyer  urged Ghanaians to continue to stay united and focus on the things that can help us construct the road of Ghana to a brighter future as such desist from seeing the economic hardship as blueprint of our future.

Nana Addo will be sworn in as the president of Ghana on Jnauary 7 th next year.
