A key member of Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s campaign team, Andy Appiah-Kubi, has expressed strong confidence in their chances of securing a decisive victory in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries scheduled for January 2026.

Speaking on JoyNews’ The Pulse on Tuesday, June 24, Appiah-Kubi stated that the campaign is gaining significant momentum nationwide.
“All that I can say is that we are getting ready to win. We have started the race, and we will definitely win. We will win and win well,” he declared.

He noted that the team has intensified its outreach efforts, engaging with key stakeholders and delegates across the country. According to him, early support has been encouraging, and the campaign expects that momentum to grow.
“Starting with the numbers that we have, it only stands to reason that if the numbers appreciate in due course, we will be in the lead,” he added.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong, a former Minister for Food and Agriculture, is among several contenders vying to lead the NPP into the 2028 general elections.

Appiah-Kubi said their campaign strategy focuses on a strong grassroots network and a clear, compelling message to delegates.
“We are very hopeful that in the course of interaction with the people, they will understand our message, they will understand our brand, and they will go with us,” he said.
