State-owned telecom operator BSNL has announced a new plan for its postpaid users in India. The plan comes with both data and voice benefits and comes with a validity of 30 days.
In terms of data, the Rs 798 postpaid plan offers 120GB or 2G or 3G data. For those unaware, BSNL does not have 4G network yet, but is currently testing 4G networks in several parts of the country.
As for calling, the Rs 798 plan offers unlimited STD and local calls on both national and local connections. Over that, users also get 100 SMS a day.
Like Airtel and Vodafone, BSNL too has tied up with Amazon India to offer Prime membership to the users of this plan. The benefits of the plan include access to sales and streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Music.

The plan, is right now available only in Karnataka circle, but may roll out to other regions as well.

Recently, BSNL announced a ‘Bumper Offer’ in which it gave 2.2GB data per day to its users. The telco later then revised the same plan increasing the data offered.

The plan is priced at Rs 999 and it comes with a validity of 6 months. Under the plan, BSNL users will get unlimited calling and 3.1GB data per day. This means that the users will get 561GB data (approximately) in total under this plan. In case a user exhausts the daily FUP limit for data, then the speed will be reduced to 40Kbps. The unlimited calling facility in the plan does not come with any FUP limit.

In comparison, telecom operator Airtel also offers a Rs 799 postpaid plan that comes with 100GB of 4G data for the whole validity period, unlimited local and STD calls.
