President of Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré will today pay a day’s working visit to Ghana to meet President Akufo Addo.

The two leaders will hold bilateral talks at the Jubilee House which will centre on peace, security, and trade within the ECOWAS Sub Region.

President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré will be coming with a delegation of businessmen to explore investment opportunities in Ghana.

President Nana Akufo-Addo was also in Ouagadougou, the capital of the Republic of Burkina Faso, in May 2017 for a two-day tour of that country.

He used the opportunity to discuss how the two countries could join forces to boost development.

They also discussed the Accra-Ouagadougou railway project.

“I will be very disappointed if the two sides are unable to find a solution to how we can get the Accra-Ouagadougou railway going,” President Akufo-Addo said at the time.

They also reportedly discussed ways of channeling the water spilled from the dam, which submerges homes in the northern part of Ghana, into productive ventures for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
