Former Black Stars player Awudu Issaka has joined the swansong singing the praises of assistant coach of the Black Stars C.K Akunnor for his positive impact since joining the team.

C.K Akunnor was named as assistant coach of the Black Stars just before Ghana’s Afcon 2021 double header against South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe.

According to the disco dancer the influence of C.K Akunnor on the team is 80% as he can even sees from their demeanor and interaction on the bench.

"His influence on the bench is 80% because I saw how Kwasi Appiah stood with Tanko on the bench and how he stands with C.K on the bench now "

"For this long years since Tanko was with Kwasi Appiah I never saw this rapport."he told Kumasi based Akoma Fm.

"There is clear difference between how he interacts on the bench with C.K Akunnor and how he did in the past with Ibrahim Tanko"

"Am not saying these things because I'm an ex-player but its glaring and I have never seen such chemistry before"

"If you are charting a path you would not know its getting crocked but its the one outside who can tell you but I must congratulate C.K Akunnor for his hard work since coming on board" he added.
