The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is expected to give a ruling today over the fate of Ghana’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double header against Sierra Leone.

On Friday, the world football's governing body handed an immediate suspension to Sierra Leone Football Association due to government interference.

By the current situation, the matches are not allowed to take place, as stipulated by Fifa's laws.

Although Ghana football's Normalization Committee communications director Dan Kwaku Yeboah says plans for the match remain unchanged despite the visitors' recent troubles with Fifa.

CAF is expected to give its ruling on the matter before the close of the day.

The first leg is scheduled for October 11 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi while the return fixture is billed for October 14 in Freetown.
