Manager of Scottish premier league club Neil Lennon has showered praises on Ghanaian Youngster Jeremie Frimpong describing the defender as one of the "outstanding" young talents coming through the club's ranks.

Frimpong made his second senior appearance last weekend when Celtic thrashed Ross County 6-0.

The 19-year old former Manchester City Academy graduate has had a promising start to his Celtic career, displaying potentials to the Hoops faithful.

"Jeremie would come under emerging talent which is really important for the club," Lennon told Celtic TV.

"At 19 we think for the money that we've paid for him we've got an outstanding talent on our hands.

"What you see on the pitch is what you get off the pitch.

"Just an energetic buzzbomb who is all personality, really proud to be here", the manager added.

The Celtic boss also revealed the Frimpong caught his attention with his training displays in the build up to the Ross County game.

"The week leading into the Ross County game his training levels were outstanding and it was impossible to leave him out of the team.

"We hope he'll progress into the player we hope he will be", Lennon concluded.
