Assistant coach of the Black Meteors who also doubles as the trainer for second tier side Star Madrid FC, Michael Osei has called for a review of kick off times in our various leagues.

Traditionally matches in Ghana are normally fixed at 3pm but the Star Madrid coach says the 3pm kick off is inhibiting the proper flow of the game since players are normally exhausted due to the uncompromising weather which normally is very sunny and hot at that time.

"Kickoff time for the GPL needs to be reviewed because the weather at 3 pm is too hot for the players. It slows the game and distracts the pace of the game" Coach Osei told Kumasi based OTEC Fm.

The trainer for the failed Olympic team has advocated for a 4pm kick off time as he says by that time the weather will be much cooler and less sunny so as to get the high tempo exciting games we all crave for.

"The FA must change it to 4 pm because the boys (Players) are suffering"He added
