Charterhouse, organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has called on Patapaa to apologize for his claim that the board took a bribe to cheat him out of winning the most popular song of the year award.

According to PRO George Quaye, Patapaa should provide evidence of his assertion or apologize to the organization for tarnishing their image.

In the aftermath of the VGMAs an angry Patapaa lashed out at Charterhouse, claiming they had taken a bribe to give his rightful award to Fancy Gadam.

However, Quaye said the singer should walk back his claim and apologize to Charterhouse.

“If Patapaa has an evidence of us taking money from any nominee, he should release else he should apologise to the board, academy and the general public for that comment,” he told ZionFelix in an interview.

“We will release the votes very soon so that we all see how everybody performed on the night. It is a very unfortunate statement from him.”
