Chief Imam Dr Sheikh Osumanu Nuhu Shaributu has urged Muslims to exercise restraints amid violent reactions over prediction of his death by Pastor Owusu Bempah.

Some unidentified youth have attacked Rev Owusu Bempah’s Church over his 'doom' prophecies about some prominent Ghanaians during his watch night service on Monday.

The Founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, in his 2019 prophecy said he has witnessed signs that  suggests that the Chief Imam, Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharubutu, could die in 2019.

But his doomsday prophecies have angered some Muslim youth who reacted angrily by attacking his church.

However the Chief Imam in a quick reaction to restor calm has urged the youth to "forgive" the pastor, who also predicted the death of vice president Bawumia and former President Mahama.

"we are living in peace with fellow Christians and other religion so lets maintain that relationship," the Chief Imam said.

" Leave him with his character and forgive him. As for death every soul shall taste it either today or tomorrow so no need to attack the man.

"we should not do anything to divide us as a nation.Please leave him and forgive him.

" am begging you, I am begging you," Chief Imam added.

The attackers were seen destroying the billboard of the church before breaking into the church premises.

They have ordered the pastor top come out and apologise over his prediction.

“If the pastor no come out to apologize what he say, we’ll teach them a lesson,” one of the attackers is heard saying in the background.
