The goalkeeping situation at Kotoko means that potentially three quality goalkeepers will be warming the bench as just one of the four can be fielded during games.

Kotoko have four quality goalkeepers at their disposal now with the signing of Razak Abalora adding to the likes of Felix Annan, Kwame Baah and youngster Danlad Ibrahim.

Felix Annan, 25, appears to be looking for a way out of the club as his representative says the club is on the radar of Chippa United.

Head coach Maxwell Konadu has preferred Kwame Baah over Felix Annan in the league the whole of last season with the signing of Razak Abalora set to worsen his plight.

Annan wants regular first team football and that may not be guaranteed at Asante Kotoko and thinks a move abroad will suffice.

''The most important thing that we are trying to do is to bring the player to SA. He is a very quality player,'' More told Soccer Laduma.

''Chippa United is one of the clubs that were keen on the player. The club’s goalkeeper coach really liked him but due to the COVID-19 we couldn't bring the player here at the time.

''The boy has been working really hard and is very hungry and I can’t really point out any negatives about him.''

The Kotoko captain has in the past been linked with a move to Maritzburg United as replacement for compatriot Richard Ofori who has now moved to Orlando Pirates while Maritzburg have signed Zambia international goalkeeper Sebastian Mwange.
