Ghana and Newcastle footballer Christian Atsu is the latest to add his voice to the list of celebrities and famous Ghanaians to preach for peace in the country's December 7 elections.

The Chelsea player on loan at Newcastle recently found his form at the English lower division side and took to his twitter page to urge Ghanaians to remain calm and peaceful during and after the elections. He encouraged the losing party to stay peaceful and put Ghana first no matter the outcome.

"Its all about Ghana tomorrow. We pray for a peaceful election. Whether your party wins or not. Ghana still win. Let love lead." he wrote

Ghana goes to the polls tomorrow 7th December for a general elections which is imminently going to be a close call between the main opposition New Patriotic Party and the ruling National Democratic Congress.
