Former Asante Kotoko striker, Ahmed Toure has been singing the praises of the chairman of the National Circles Council, Christopher Damenya.

The staunch Kotoko supporter even before he was elected as the leader of the club's supporters has been very supportive of the club.

He is more than often assisted the club with his deep pockets in varied forms and means for the team.

According the controversial striker, Damenya is more than a father to him as he supported him enormously whiles at Kotoko including buying him a brand new  car.

The striker confirmed this in an interview with Kumasi based Hello Fm.

"Christopher Damenya is a good person. He's like my father. When I rejoined Kotoko he catered for my signing on fee and promised me a car."

"He bought the brand new car for me. He handed the keys and papers to me at the Asante Kotoko office."

"So, he delivered all his promises to me," he said.

The Burkinabe has played for Kotoko three separate occasions with the his first stint starting in the 2007/2008 season.
