Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been very busy signing players to augment their squad as the 2020/2021 season begins next month.

They have added a lot of new names whiles cutting loose some fringe players with Evans Adomako a relatively unknown player among the new players acquired by the club.

Moses Antwi Benefo, Communications manager of the club has leapt to the defence of the new acquisition who played for Phar Rangers while new CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah was at the club.

According to the Kotoko spokesperson, the striker is very clinical and will do his talking on the pitch with his feet.

"Evans Adomako is a clinical finisher, a proactive goal monger." he told Oyerepa FM in an interview

"A player who scores at ease,he can't go drought of goals for 2 to 3 matches."

"He scored 28 goals in the division 2 and division 1 matches he played," he added.

Adomako joins the Ghanaian giants on a three year deal after passing his mandatory medicals on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old spent most of his time playing in Belarus for the likes of FC Gomel, Rudar Velenje and NK Dravograj.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently in Koforidua having their preseason exercises ahead of the start of the new season next month.

The Kumasi based giants will begin their campaign with a game against Techiman Eleven Wonders.

Kotoko will also represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season.
