Ghanaian winger Kamal Sowah was shown his marching orders when his Club Brugge side faced Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening in the UEFA Champions League game.

The Club Brugge player will have a stern look at himself for being sent off as the two yellow cards were needless in a game that ended 0-0.

His first yellow card came in added time of the first half as he kicked a ball away when the referee had awarded a free kick to Atletico Madrid.

Sowah could not keep a cool head as he was shown a second yellow card for a similar offense to what he did in the first half.

The Rojiblancos were awarded a free kick after a foul was committed by a Club Brugge player and the Ghanaian once again kicked the ball away for his second yellow card and an early bath.

Sowah has scored twice in the competition this season for Club Brugge in matches against Porto and Atletico Madrid.
