Head coach of the Black Stars B has dropped three of six Hearts of oak players in camp ahead of their 2020 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.

The three, Manaf Umar, Benjamin Agyare and Benjamin Afutu are among 16 players dropped by the former Asante Kotoko coach.
But teammates Joseph Esso, Mohammed Alhassan and Fataw Mohammed remain with the 2017 champions for the first leg encounter.

It comes some few days after it was rumoured in the media the coach wanted to reduce the number of Hearts players in the team.

and 2017 WAFU gold medalist Joseph Addo are also part of the selection casualties as the team prepare for the duel at  the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The team commenced preparations in Kumasi last month for the all-important qualifier against Burkina Faso.
Coach Konadu’s side are also expected to represent the country in the upcoming WAFU tournament to be staged in Senegal.
