Kotoko Brazilian import Fabio Gama is yet to play a single minute for the Kumasi based club since joining but head coach Maxwell Konadu has given an insight as to when he expects the player to start playing for the club.

The porcupine Warriors in October 2020 announced the signing of 28 year old Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama on a two year deal.

Gama arrived in Ghana in November this year and has been training with the squad and was even a part of the Kotoko team that traveled to Berekum against Chelsea in a 1-1 drawn game.

Since arriving there has been a lot of anxious noises as to when the Brazilian will start playing for his new club.

Others have even branded his capture as a waste of money and time but speaking after his side's one nil win over Legon Cities, coach Maxwell Konadu revealed the player is almost ready.

"He is now almost ready and I am impressed with the way he trains." he disclosed.

The Brazilian has been handed the iconic number 10 jersey but the jersey is being wasted in the stands as he is yet to play but that may soon change.
