Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Gold Stars have appointed experienced Michael Osei as their new coach for the coming season.

The former Kotoko gaffer has signed a three year deal with the Bibiani based side after leaving lower tier side Star Madrid FC.

He replaces promotion expert Kobina Amissah who vacated his role months after helping the team secure promotion for the first time in the club's history.

Coach Osei has been at the lower tier club the last three years after departing Kotoko under a cloud as his side have failed to secure promotion as expected.

The financial struggles of the club's owner, Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 of defunct Menzgold is well documented and the team is suffering from their owner's financial malaise.

Osei left Kotoko four years ago where he rose from assistant coach to head coach before departing and won back to back Ghana Premier League titles as assistant to Masaud Didi Dramani.
