Frank Mbella Etouga has sang the praises of his head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum for being a father figure and helping him settle at the club.

The former Cameroonian youth star joined the reds in October 2021 from Cameroonian side Fortuna de Mfou and has since been in red hot form.

The Cameroonian International has been in very good form for the porcupine warriors in his debut season having scored 21 goals and needs just one to equal the 22 goals scored by Ishmael Addo as the highest ever goal tally scored in the Ghana  Premier League.

Despite missing three matches at the beginning of the Ghana Premier League season the Cameroonian leads the scoring charts.

Speaking in an  interview with Opemsuo FM, the striker revealed that the coach is a calm person who has offered him the chance to shine.

Etouga on Coach Prosper: “He’s a very good person, I remember the first time I met him, he told me to take him as a father first before him being a Coach. He’s a calm person who has given me the chance, because with my previous Coach the least mistake and you’re put on the bench.”

He was named in the preliminary Cameroonian squad for the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Burundi but was later dropped.

He has been linked with moves to European sides such as Saint-Etienne, Galatasaray, SD Eibar and Atletico Madrid among others.
