Accra Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has achieved a feat equal to what the legendary Jones Attuquayefio did in the 1999 season.

Boadu led his charges on Sunday beat Ashgold to complete the club's sixth double, a record only held by the Phobians.

It comes just weeks after winning the league for the first time in 9 seasons in a 12-year period.

Winning the league and FA cup tells a similar story of what the club did in 1999 with the triumphant 64 Battalions under the the tutelage of Jones Attuquayefio, who went on to conquer Africa in grand style in the following season.

The Phobians under Boadu secured the second trophy of the season after conquering rivals Ashanti Gold in a dramatic 8-7 penalty shootout  in the Ghana FA Cup on Sunday.

After a barren draw, all eleven players of both sides kicked in the shootout of which the elenth kick of Goalkeeper Richard Attah won the Phobians their eleventh FA Cup title.

They have now extended their FA Cup records whiles closing down on Kotoko in the league difference.
