The Coldwater High School soccer program is teaming up with Spanco, a St. Paul non-denominational organization, to collect and deliver soccer gear to the children of Ghana, Africa.

A variety of soccer related items, including old cleats, uniforms, shinguards, socks, goal keeper gloves and jerseys, warmups, balls, and another other soccer related equipment will be collected at the Cardinals home game Tuesday night.

A collection bin will also be set up outside the Coldwater High School Athletic Director’s office located in the CHS Athletic Lobby all this coming week, with an additional bin being placed at the Branch County AYSO Soccer Complex this Saturday and Sunday.

The items will then be taken to the Detroit area to be combined with other collections from around the state and then shipped to Ghana later this month.
