The Lebanese who allegedly assaulted a staff of the Marwako Restaurant in Accra has been granted bail.

The magistrate court hearing the assault case against the Lebanese supervisor at the Marwako Restaurant  Jihad Chabaan granted the bail to the sum of GH20,000 with two sureties.

The court presided over by Victoria Ghansah in granting the bail said Jihad Chaaban is also expected as part of his bail conditions, to report at the Tesano district police station every Tuesday and Friday.

Meanwhile, management of the restaurant has suspended the supervisor until police conclude investigations into the matter.

The case has been adjourned to the 20th of  March 2017 where  the lawyer for the accused will  cross-examine the victim Evelyn A.boagye
