Bologna midfielder Godfred Donsah has set his sights on a return from the injury setback that has ruled him out for the start of the Serie A campaign.

The Ghanaian picked up a knock during pre-season and is set for sometime on the sidelines.

He shared a picture of his recovery on social media with the caption; “An injury that did not take, almost at the end of a very positive preseason and at the beginning of a very important season for all of us. But it is now time to look forward, then to work to get back stronger than before ?????”

The 22 year old was heavily linked with a summer move to several clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Everton and AC Milan, but has opted to extend his stay with the Rossoblu.

Donsah was part of the Ghana U20 squad that participated in the 2015 Fifa World Youth Championship.

He was handed a debut invitation to the Black Stars of Ghana in November 2017.
