Ghana and FC St. Pauli midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh has returned to fitness after been sidelined by injury.

The creative midfielder has not played for his lower tier German side ever since returning from Ghana's disastrous AFCON campaign.

Kyereh sustained a muscle injury at the AFCON whiles playing for Ghana but has now returned to training and is expected to play in the coming days.

Since returning from the African Cup of Nations which Ghana were knocked out at the group stages, the midfielder has been sidelined with an injury.

The 25 year old was one of the few players who covered himself in gold at the African Cup of Nations despite Ghana's poor showing.

He has since missed two key matches for his FC St Pauli side but may be considered by the technical team for this weekend's league game.

The attacking midfielder is a key member of the lower tier side as they push for promotion contributing five goals whiles providing ten assists.
