Ghanaian forward Daniel Kofi Kyereh scored in his first game for  FC St. Pauli since returning from the African Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon on Saturday.

The lower tier German side defeated Jahn Regensburg a 3-2 defeat in the German second-tier league on Saturday evening at the Jahn Stadion.

FC St. Pauli broke the deadlock of the game as early as the 7th minute through Etienne Amenyido before Guido Burgstaller  added the second goal from the spot in the 11th minute.

In the second half, the home side reduced the deficit with a goal from Andreas Albers in the 56th minute to make it 2-1.

Kofi Kyereh who joined the action from the bench in the 57th minute as replacement for Etienne Amenyido made it 3-1 for the away side with a goal in the 66th minute of the game.

David Otto made it 3-2 for the host with a goal in the 73rd minute but that was not enough as the promotion chasers went away with all three points.

The Black Stars player has now scored six goals and provided ten assists in 22 games in all competitions for FC St. Pauli this season.
