Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed has departed Belgium club Anderlecht after a six-year tenure with the team.

He has signed a three-year contract with lower-tier Spanish side CD Tenerife where he is currently on loan.

The news was confirmed by Juan Guerrero, the sports director of Spanish second division side CD Tenerife, who revealed that Dauda Mohammed has inked a three-year contract with the club.

Guerrero stated, "We will distribute the transfer fee to Anderlecht over the duration of those three years," underscoring the financial aspects of the deal between the two clubs.

Since his arrival at Anderlecht in 2017 from Ghana Premier League's Asante Kotoko, the talented forward has encountered challenges in securing a regular position in the first team.

Despite showcasing his goal-scoring prowess in the U-21 squad upon joining the Purple-White at 17, breaking through to the senior team proved to be a formidable task.

Loan spells at Vitesse and Esbjerg didn't yield the desired results. However, Dauda Mohammed enjoyed a successful stint at Cartagena last season, leaving a lasting impression that convinced CD Tenerife of his abilities. After spending a year on loan, Tenerife has opted to secure his services on a permanent basis.

Since his arrival at Tenerife during the summer, Dauda Mohammed has made 26 appearances, netting 3 goals and providing 3 assists. His contributions on the pitch have showcased his skills and potential, further solidifying his place in the team.

As Dauda Mohammed embarks on a new chapter in his career, joining CD Tenerife, both he and the club have high hopes for the future.

With his continued dedication and determination, he aims to make a significant impact and contribute to the team's success in the coming seasons.

He has scored four goals and provided three assists for his on-loan club this season.
