Ghanaian talents David Abanga and Razak Abalora demonstrated their skills as FC Petrocub claimed a commanding 7-0 victory over FC Dacia Buiucani on Saturday.

Abanga, operating in the role of attacking midfielder, found the back of the net, while goalkeeper Abalora delivered a stellar performance to keep a clean sheet, contributing to Petrocub's resounding triumph on home soil.

This impressive win ensures Petrocub maintains their position at the top of the Moldovan National Division, holding a five-point lead after eight matches.

The contributions of Abanga and Abalora, along with their fellow Ghanaian teammate Seidu Basit, have been pivotal to Petrocub's success.

Abanga, who joined the club in March 2024 from Sudanese outfit Al-Hilal, has made a significant impact, registering four league goals since his arrival.

Meanwhile, Abalora has proven to be a formidable presence in goal, boasting five clean sheets in eight games, showcasing his reliability and skill.

FC Petrocub boasts a strong Ghanaian connection, with former Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Nana Yaw Amponsah serving as President, further strengthening the bond between the club and Ghanaian football talent.
