A leading member of the vigilante group affiliated with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Delta Force has indicated that he has dumped the party to join their rival, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr. Ernest Appiah Danquah disclosed that the unfair treatment and failed promises by the NPP has informed his decision to join the opposition NDC to start another vigilante group dubbed 'The Hawks' where he acts as the operation manager for the group.

Speaking on Accra based Happy FM, Mr. Danquah revealed that the NPP failed to deliver on their promises to secure them jobs after they tirelessly fought to bring the party to power, adding that other frustrated members of the group are on their way out.

He stated; “I am no longer a member of the NPP and Delta Force. I am not part of any activity they embark on because I am no longer their member. I took part in the NDC Unity Walk in the Ashanti Region and will help the NDC to win power in 2020”

“There was an agreement they will give us jobs when the party wins power. But they keep tossing us as though we are children. We are all at home jobless and people are angry because we are unable to put food on the table. I have done a critical examination and I can see there is no way they can be of help to us”,

Dismissing claims by organizer of the Delta Force that he was just passing by rubbishing claims that Mr. Danquah had switched lanes said the claims are false.

“Kwadwo Bamba who is the Organiser of Delta Force has been employed at National Security and is at Flagstaff House but we are still here jobless. I took part in the NDC Unity Walk and claims by him I was only passing by is not true”
