In a recent development at the Technical Directorate, Desmond Ofei has succeeded Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah as the Director of Coaching Education.

This transition comes in the wake of Professor Mintah's appointment as the new Technical Director following the departure of Bernhard Lippert.

Desmond Ofei, a distinguished UEFA A (Level 4) Licensed Professional football coach, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

With a career spanning various coaching positions, Ofei notably served as the former U-18 Head Coach and U-21 coach at Royal Antwerp FC. Additionally, he held roles as the Head Coach for Lokeren U-21 and Lusitano SAD.

In his capacity as Director of Coaching Education, Ofei is poised to leverage his extensive coaching and scouting background across multiple countries, including Belgium, England, Holland, France, Portugal, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.

His diverse experience underscores his readiness to shape and elevate coaching standards within the Technical Directorate.

Notably, Ofei will concurrently fulfill his responsibilities as the head of high performance at the Technical Directorate, further enhancing his capacity to drive excellence and innovation in coaching education.
