Musician and political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, known as A Plus, questioned the rationale behind the current Government’s constant reference to the erstwhile Government of former President John Mahama, wondering whether or not President Nana Akufo-Addo did not know the state of Ghana’s economy before promising to fix the country in eighteen months.

The Government of President Nana Akufo-Addo has come under pressure from #FixTheCountry activists demanding that the problems of the country be addressed.

In response to the activists, Vice President Dr Bawumia enumerated some seventy issues  the Government inherited from the erstwhile John Mahama administration and what it has done to fix them. This, he argues, is part of fixing the country.

But A Plus thinks that the response is a planned propaganda:

“I told you that they have taken money to embark on the “He is fixing it” whatever. This is their planned propaganda for next week. They are going to share it in their WhatsApp groups and ask you to share it on social media. Please, prices of goods and services have increased oooo. They are fixing their pockets. Take your share before you share. Go and share + give me my share = viral. Always remember!!!

The communicators are funny ooo. Anaa they are confused? How can you win champions league these defenders? Tweaaa!!! Waste!!! You inherited this so what? So we should soak gari for you? When Akufo Addo said he will fix Ghana within 18 months was he inheriting the kingdom of heaven?” He queried.

Meanwhile, the police has secured a restraining  order on  a planned demonstration by the #FixTheCountry activists. The order was secured from the High Court after representatives of activists had met with some top Government officials.
