Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba has told one of his African counterparts to start cleaning up his act as he is a role model to many people.
The former Chelsea star has encouraged Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier to start behaving and has asked him to watch what he says in the media as he is in the public eye.

The PSG star has found himself in hot water on a few occasions already, including the famous outburst that was directed at his former coach Laurent Blanc and teammates on the social media platform Periscope.

"When you have youngsters shouting your name and asking for autographs, you need to watch what you do," Drogba told RTL.

"When he does something that's not good, I tell him. But he is a good guy. He's loyal, and he wants to succeed.

"I'll stick up for him a bit because I lost it sometimes too. I don't think he's a bad guy."

The defender has taken Drogba’s advice on the chin and says he respects what he has to say, as he sees him as a big brother.

"Didier is a big brother," he said.

"I still have him on the phone. There is no problem. He is in the best position to judge me.

"He gave me a lot of advice. I often went on vacation with him. I took this as advice … I take it well. I know he's a good man, and I know he loves me very much."

The 23-year-old has made 10 appearances for the French champions this season and assisted in three goals.
