Ghana and Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku has compared his Black Stars teammate Kamaldeen Sulemana to Newcastle's French winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

The pacy winger has been a breathe of fresh air in the French Ligue one with his outstanding performances so far for Stade Rennes since joining in the summer from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.

Kamaldeen was named the player of the month in the French Ligue 1 for the month of October 2021 after  am exciting form at the tender age  of 19 years.

The two players are teammates at the Black Stars and have played each other in the French Ligue one and the defender has extoled the qualities of the recently turned 20 year old winger.

"He's a very good dribbler, who creates a lot of uncertainty with the ball. It forces you to stay focused and attentive. He reminds me of Allan Saint-Maximin. He exudes power and speed rarely seen, while handling the ball perfectly with both feet, also using his body game a lot," Djiku told Football France.

Kamaldeen Sulemana has scored five goals across all competitions for the Red and Black this season.
