Popular hiplife turned gospel musician Michael Takyi-Frimpong known in the entertainment scene as “Lord Paper” has appealed to DJ’s and presenters to play his music.

Lord Paper who entered the limelight with the release of his “pornographic” music video titled “Awurama”, has struggled to get the attention of Ghanaians since then.

The musician said in an interview with Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty, that some people, including radio stations, have refused to play his new songs, which are gospel.

The singer however declared that he has given his life to Christ but people are finding it difficult to believe him.

In, July, the “Fameye” singer, visited the founder and leader of the Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare for prayers and decided to cut off on nudity.

When asked why he decided to turn a new leaf, he revealed that his mother had to step in to put him on the right track.

“It was a discussion between me and my mum. She likes my music”, he said.

He added that his mother said, ‘your message is positive but you are not portraying that kind of positivity in you to people so you need to do something about it’.”

Lord Paper stressed that he is a new man and urged the general public to accept his new personality.
