The Minority side of the Appointments Committee said they do not have the Curriculum Vitae of the Ministerial nominees 24 hours before their vetting commences.

According to Alhassan Suhuyini, a member of the minority side of the committee, attempts by them to get CVs of the nominees before the start of their vetting Friday had proven futile since Wednesday.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM Thursday, the Member of Parliament for Tamale North said the delay in getting them the CVs of the nominees is meant to frustrate them and that would not augur well for the process.

“The people of Ghana want us…to ask the relevant questions especially about the caliber of people that are going to be working for them. And so, we think that it is unacceptable. We don’t want them to give us the CVs tomorrow morning when we are supposed to be vetting the nominees,” he stated.
