In Sri Lanka, an elephant attacked a man who tried to hypnotise him, according to media reports. In a video taken by an eyewitness, a man walks up to an elephant that had emerged in a clearing near Yala National Park in the south of the island and raises his hand to stop him with hypnosis.
The elephant paid no attention to the efforts of the hypnotist, throwing him to the ground and trampling him. The hypnotist died as a result of his injuries.
