Thomas Partey featured as Dortmund humbled Atletico Madrid 4-0 in a remarkable Champions League result on Wednesday night.

The Ghanaian was hauled off at half time with the score at 1-0.

After Axel Witsel opened the scoring in the 38th minute, the Bundesliga leaders piled on three goals in the second half via Raphael Guerreiro's brace and Jadon Sancho.

Dortmund preserved their unbeaten record in all competitions this season as they condemned Diego Simeone to his heaviest defeat as Atletico head coach.

Wednesday's game was Partey's second appearance in the Champions League this season.

In La Liga, he has appeared eight times for Los Rojiblancos, only three of which were starts.
