Dr. Francis Ayiah Bediako will continue to serve as the Chairman of the Match Review Panel (MRP), maintaining his leadership role over the Committee for the past four years.

A seasoned senior lecturer at the Statistics Department of the University of Cape Coast, Dr. Ayiah Bediako brings a wealth of expertise to the panel.

Retired referee Justice Yeboah will support him in the capacity of Vice Chairman, while Paul Ayamba joins as a member.

The Match Review Panel (MRP) holds a critical responsibility within the Ghana Football Association (GFA), tasked with reviewing incidents referred to the panel by clubs, whistleblowers, or volunteers concerning the conduct of referees in GFA-sanctioned competitions.

This review process aligns with the laws of the game and the regulations of the GFA.

Empowered to impose or adjust penalties as necessary, the MRP operates on the basis of official requests submitted through the prescribed Complaint Form, which are then forwarded to the General Secretary for further action.

Central to the panel's function is the fair and impartial assessment of incidents, ensuring that referees, assistant referees, and officials involved have the opportunity to provide explanations for their decisions.

Under the leadership of Dr. Ayiah Bediako, the Match Review Panel remains committed to upholding integrity and accountability within Ghanaian football, fostering an environment of transparency and trust in officiating across all levels of the sport.
