Former management member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Edmund Ackah has accused his former boss Dr Kwame Kyei for being behind the woes of Asante Kotoko.

Kotoko have had to pay mounting debts ranging compensations, severance package and Fifa fines since the oil magnate took over the reigns of the club.

First they were forced to pay off debts of over $12,000 to Norwegian trainer Kjetil Zachariasen even though he wanted more after his sacking while former coach C.K Akonnor has always been awarded compensation of more than a billion cedis for wrongful dismissal which the club needs to settle.

The nail in the Asante Kotoko coffin seem to be the Emmanuel Clottey debts where they are to pay $240,000 before 10th May 2020 or face relegation.

"Nobody is causing financial loss to Kotoko or Dr. Kwame Kyei but the Executive Chairman him self(Dr.Kwame Kyei), he told Oyerepa FM.

He added, "You mention laws of the game on issues to him, then he starts spewing that there's no need for the laws."
